Flash mental mathフラッシュ暗算
In フラッシュ暗算, five numbers appear one at a time while the beads follow the running total. You add the last one on the beads yourself. もう一度見る (Watch again) replays them before you answer.5 つの数が 1 つずつ出ます。珠は、途中までの合計を追いかけます。最後の数は、自分で珠にたして答えます。「もう一度見る」で、はじめから見直せます。
Play until your third miss3 回まちがえるまで続く
You have three lives. Each miss costs one, and problems keep coming until the third.ライフは 3 つ。まちがえると 1 つ減り、3 回まちがえるまで問題が続きます。
Combos and best runsコンボと自己ベスト
Right answers in a row build a combo and earn more points. Each kind of problem keeps your best score.正解を続けるとコンボが伸びて、点数が増えます。いちばん高い点数は、種類ごとに自己ベストとして残ります。
From 練習10級 to 練習十段「練習10級」から「練習十段」まで
Points add up to a rank, from Practice 10th kyu to Practice 10th dan. Home shows your rank and the points to the next one.点数がたまると段位が上がります。今の段位と、次の段位まであと何点かは、ホームで見られます。

Every bead move plays back one at a time, named the way soroban teachers name it (carry ten, five complement and so on). Multiplication uses 両落とし and division 商除法, so you see which rod each digit goes on.「十の繰上」「五の合成」など、珠の動かし方を 1 つずつ再生します。かけ算は両落とし、わり算は商除法で、どの位に何を置くかがわかります。
Toward mental mathだんだん暗算へ
Right answers in a row raise the level, and the beads fade. At level 6 they can’t be seen. They still move where they would be, so your fingers keep working the soroban in your head.正解を続けるとレベルが上がり、珠がだんだんうすくなります。レベル 6 では見えません。それでも珠はいつもの場所で動くので、指を動かしながら頭の中のそろばんで答えます。
